Gosh, anything I can contribute:
pharmaceutical related endeavors, being that I am a PharmD student
-anything to do with fitness (running, cycling, dance, yoga, pilates, nutrition)
- spreading the good word
- getting my daughter involved so that she can see the power of positive motivation and selfless volunteerism
- health screenings
Personal Bio - Tell us a little about you
Currently a single mom of a precocious 10-year-old girl named Keely, as well as a student in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at UNM..due to graduate in May of 2010, after which I plan to complete 2 years of residency outside NM.
Also a triathlete, which would make me a runner and cyclist, former ballerina in San Francisco.
Have had personal experience with many addictions, especially eating disorders, so that might be some area I delve into.
HMM.... I have a dog named Buddy that I got as my "New Man". He has helped keep me busier than I thought, at home more than I anticipated, and hence out of trouble. I guess my New Man fulfilled the purpose I got him for ( beside having a dedicated, unjudging and loving being to be there on those nights when I would rather not be alone).
Oh, I work in scrubs, which ROCKS!
What is your connection with EPC?
I have been loosely following it since the beginning and decided it's high time I get my butt involved in some fashion. My true connection has yet to be formed.

Hi Amy,
Nice to meet you. thanks for adding me as a friend. I am a nurse at UH. I also road bike. A group of us from EPC did Enchanted Circle Century in '08. We had a blast. I look forward to seeing you again soon. When we spoke on Monday night and you mentioned getting pharm students involved were you talking about yoga or endorphathon? I know we'll be needing volunteers for the Endorphathon.
I ride mostly mountain bikes in the south foothills. I ride with a friend or two from time to time but mostly by myself. I have been riding nights with good lights lately. Are yoa a rider? road or mountain? how aften do you ride?
