- Personal Bio - Tell us a little about you
- Writing Out Of Trouble (WOOT) is a creative writing workshop whose purpose is to encourage addicts/alcoholics to pursue recovery as championed by the 12 Step Programs.
WOOT was created by Alex de Schweinitz and Harold Montoya.We stress that our workshop is an on-going "work in progress." For all who know of the workshop or who have been enrolled in the workshop we are always open to suggestions as to how we can better meet the needs and wants of our of our enrollees.
- What is your connection with EPC?
- We have just met with the leadership, and they have most kindly offered us space for a once a week workshop that will last one hour and a half. The curriculum is currently designed for a 12 week period. However, persons are welcome to enter the workshop at any time during that 12 week period--our intention is to cast a net and, again, encourage pursuit of recovery in the 12 Step Programs.
All residents of the EP University are welcomed and admitted at no charge. For other interested participants we merely ask for a donation if that is affordable. Regardless of the request for donations we want as many persons in our workship as space will allow at the University.
