I'm excited about this group taking a stand for the responsible use of energy. I sure hope that EPC's continued dedication to solar panel technology will continue.

tough times for a tough guy..
Friends,
The trials of moving to my new duplex weren't easy, but my memories at EPC are eversweet. Thankfully, I'm still a neighbor. Moving away is tough, and yet my links are forever, like a bond. I will stay in touch, beginning at the volunteer meetings. Long live EPU!

Attention gourmands, aspiring chefs, and eaters alike...
so exciting to see the EPU kitchen renovated into a chef's paradise...this morning as I was cleaning the counter-tops, I beheld Amy begin prep on the Sunday evening dinner: chopped onions, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, broccoli, clarified butter, and big ol' shrimp in the fridge for tonight's Shrimp Scampi EPU Community Dinner...Meanwhile, Cade's on a ladder putting in the installations for a kitchen camera, perhaps for security purposes, or perhaps as Reuben mentioned, for a food show. Thanks for the comment. I just feel appalled that in a country of abundance there are people going hungry. What have we been reduced to as human beings? I do what I can to get people together and volunteer. My passion lies in trying to rehabilitate victims of abuse. I believe that if I can help re-inforce self-worth & self-esteem in them, then they'll be further along in their journey to break-away from abusive relationships. I would like them to have a better body-image (as well as better mental health) via exercise, eating right and help them cultivate a bunch of hobbies like needlework, play musical instruments, dance etc. I also think by teaching them basic computer skills I can maybe help them qualify for some jobs, leading to their independence. Sorry for being so wordy, but my fingers sometimes move faster than my brain :)
